My cousin who does not speak English and is disabled due to a blood hemorrhage she had last year was at the Stoneridge Mall last Tuesday 5pm. The sellers of this store are super pushy and sneaky.
Somehow they managed to throw some Spanish and lied about he price and promotions of their product. She got confused and ended-up buying $1,600 USD in their products. 10 minutes later a friend of my cousin tried to help her to return the products explaining to the manager of the store that my cousin could not understand or speak English and is disabled. The manager however, pointed out the receipts have a "Non refund" policy printed on their receipts.
The manager refused to refund her anything even after her friend explained the situation.
I went by the mall store yesterday and explained to them that my cousin is disabled and does not even have a job.
She basically made a very expensive mistake, but they refused to listed and refund anything again. I will have to call the credit card and help her put a fraud/dispute directly with the bank.
I am very disappointed about the ethics of this business and really wished this kind of business were not even in the market.
