I was recently in Vegas and stayed at a very pricey upscale hotel called the Cosmopolitan. The shops located in their mall are very high end (Michael Kors, Stella McCarthy, etc.) expensive designer types so I just assumed that Skin 6/2 was along the same line.
As I was walking past the store to go have lunch, I was handed a product sample. No sooner had I accepted the sample when a very insistent salesman appeared and said that they were having a "one time only deep pocketed discount sale" and he didn't want me to miss out because the sale was only in effect for another 2 hours. He claimed that their was a convention of cosmetologists meeting at the hotel and that was the reason for this amazing 66% off sale. Of course, my curiosity was aroused and I agreed to let him demonstrate one of his products on me.
The name of this particular line was FOREVER FLAWLESS. He placed a small amount of peeling gel on my cheek and "voila" my old skin just pealed off. When I asked what the product retailed for, he told me $1500.00 !!!!! I went into instant sticker shock and told him that NO WAY would I spend that kind of money on a facial product EVER !!
He then proceeded to tell me that because of the convention taking place that he could offer it to me for $500.00 and that he would also throw in some snake venom cream ( synthetic Botox) and a daily moisturizer. At this point I told him that I was getting very hungry and needed to go have lunch and that I would think about it. By this time I had been in the store for nearly an hour. It was going on 1:00 PM.
He reminded me that this offer was only good until 2:00 PM. He then said that because there was only an hour left and this was my "lucky day" that he was going to throw in some toner which retailed for $200.00. He also managed to show me FOREVER FLAWLESS's website so that I could see that the snake venom cream alone retailed for $1500.00. At this point he ALMOST had me.
I wanted to know if their was a customer satisfaction guarantee. He said that I had 30 days in which I could return the products if dissatisfied and would get a full $ amount back. I thought wow this is "too good to be true". Just $500.00 for all of these luxury skin products and full money back guarantee if not happy.
You know the rest........
After 2 weeks of using the products I developed a rash. I have tried contacting both the store Skin 6/2 and the customer service rep. for Forever Flawless. Neither will return my calls.
The Forever Flawless phone # is simply a recording and Skin6/2 claims that they will have a store manager contact me. Three weeks have know gone by and I am passed the "30 days".
