Subject:Key West ripoff on Duval

Dear Readers:

Not having a vacation away in many years from the normal family gatherings, I decided to book a last minute trip to Key West. Plugged in last minute deals and the beautiful Parrot Key resort popped up and I booked the room. The next day I was heading to paradise, excited like a child hitting Disney for their first ever experience. The drive was long from Tampa but stopped overnight in FT Lauderdale, stayed with my brother and his family. Back on the road the following day, all went well. Checked in at the Parrot Key and took off for dinner on Front St. Had a great time. That is kind of how the trip went the next four days, beach, sun and the sights. The very last day, I decided to take in some shopping, found some great deals on clothes and shoes on Duval. Also I had another awesome meal at Caroline's. While heading back to my vehicle I inadvertanly walked across a store front called Key West Salon pushing a product called Forever Flawless. The girl that works there, let's call her Bella - convinces me to come in and sit down. I was hot, so in I went. This was the first mistake of many to follow over the rest of the afternoon. Bella was selling hard with me saying no I dont want anything. Soon after, my credit card is being slammed for $870 dollars, while all along she is telling me I work hard and need to take care of myself. Somehow this little sweet girl has me in a private room and giving me a facial. Bella convinces me to buy more product, I kept saying no I can't afford anymore, she would leave the room and come back with a discount on every turn. We started at $12 grand, after all the no's she would leave the room and come back with another deal. Bella convinces me again that she will credit the $870 back for the purchase of all the product's she presented over the last two hours. I quote "Don't tell my boss or he would kill me", it does not end. I hand her my credit card to credit back the first purchase and run the new purchase for $1,612. Now Discover has it together and does not process the second purchase. Bella says, give me your debit card please. Another mistake, Bam! No policy of anykind was ever mentioned. An hour and a half later I am back to return the product and want a full refund. I get a piece of paper handed to me and am told to fill it out and I will hear back in 48 hours. I was told to take the product with me as the company will provide an address to return the merchandise. Now that was Wednesday and it's now Friday night with no calls from anyone. My credit card company is working on the first refund which Bella did not process and my bank says I am out of luck on the $1612. I can see that online other visitors talk about this exact store as I also saw the tall middle eastern fella onsite. Can anyone help me retrieve my funds??

The same thing happened to me a month later, at the same place!I was taken for even more money - embarrassed to say how much.

I filled out a form to cancel my order, and they sent it anyway.I'm in the process of disputing the charge and trying to figure out what recourse I have.
