I went to the North Shore Mall in Peabody, MA to do some quick shopping and happened upon the store while I was walking by. I wanted a quick sample of a lotion to try and ended up doing a demo.

I really enjoyed the service but it wasn’t in my budget to purchase. I let the sales person, Amily, know that I couldn’t afford it and it wasn’t in my budget and I would have to talk with my significant other before spending a large amount of money on a whim. She then said, “I don’t like liars. It’s easier to tell the truth.” As I walked away, she kept repeating herself, to make me feel bad about myself when in reality I couldn’t afford to purchase the $70 product.

How could you talk to a person like that? At least treat me like a human being..

I was approached by sales person Ellie in front of Forever Flawless store at North Shore Shopping Center in Peabody, MA. I went in and she proceeded to start applying products to my arm and then sat me down in a chair and starting to bring out products and apply them to my face.

She then started out with an outrageous price of 3495.00 for an array of products that she said I needed. I said in no way do I have that much money. She then removed products and brought out new ones and changed the price and products NUMEROUS times. I was confused and didn't know what was actually in the bag she was filling and removing from.

She asked for my credit card because I said I didn't know how much available I had left on it. Now she was at the register with my card and she came back with a bag and products with a receipt she said was in the bag. Another sales man came over and started talking to me with compliments while she was at the register to distract me. I was played I know after the fact.

She was charming and kept giving me compliments to throw me off guard and so was the other salesman David his name was. I didn't see the receipt till I got home because it was buried under my products. I attempting to get a refund for the $650.oo gold mask that is what is actually on my receipt. This is outrageous price and I was lied to and manipulated.

The product was not sealed from the time of sale either so I don't know if it was used on another person for one of their demonstrations. I did not use it because it was already opened when I got home. I want a full refund.

I have not contacted the store yet I wanted leverage before I do that so they don't try to manipulate me again. I also am going to speak to my lawyer about this to see what I can do legally if they do not refund me.

Update by user Feb 25, 2016

Thru the Forever Flawless given by this site, I was given the parent company of the store that I bought the products from. After a lengthy conversation with Johnny Vico, I am emailing a complaint to them in hopes of a resolution. I update as this progresses.

I believe Forever Flawless is a ***. I was convinced to buy the eye serum and got a free facial within one week. The facial lasted an hour and a half, with a mask that was put on my face, one side at a time. Lots of talking....trying to sell me products, adding other products and facials for free. I have never fallen for a scam like this! Finally, I agreed to spent $1000. just to get out of there, and gave my card. How crazy is that? "Elad" took my card to the front of the store to ring in my sale. He returned without the card, telling me, "I really want you to get both sets." ($2000.) He insisted, really pushing the product, adding more free stuff, a year's worth of skincare. I was worrying about my credit card, nowhere in sight. Finally, I gave in, I just wanted to get out of there. I had to ask for my credit card back.

I didn't see "no refund" on the sales slip that I signed, but when he took that away(quickly), it was on my receipt, but somehow, it didn't register. I'll tell you, this guy was so good, he sold me a product (for $1000.) that is called 24 carat gold, because it has gold in it. I am allergic to gold, can't have it touch my skin. I bought it. That's a ***.

Within two days, I had a bad reaction to the products, burnt skin and raw, puffy, red around the eyes. I tried to return all the product, as I no longer trusted any of their products, and was insulted. Even when the mediator from my credit card company called, trying to resolve it,"David" the mgr. on duty, would not give the name of his boss or the owner of the store.

The stores are independent of the parent company. There is no way to get touch with anyone higher up that the people in the store.

I have not been able to sleep or concentrate on anything else since this happened. This has shattered my sense of self. I have never done anything like this.

That, I suppose, is the definition of a ***, that they convince you to do something that's completely against your better judgement.

Any suggestions as to how to deal with this?

I did the same thing as you. Extremely pushy, yet charismatic sales people.

I purchased products in Massachusetts. The law here states that a sign of their refund policy needs to be posted conspicuously and it doesn't matter what the receipt says. You receive the receipt after the sale. How are you to know what their return policy is beforehand, unless a sign was posted.

In my case, I had a reaction to the products. When I went in the salon to return my items, they told me That there are no refunds. I argued that it didn't say it on my receipt ( which by law, didn't matter) plus there was no sign. I thought took pictures.

They showed me the sign, which mysteriously fell upside down behind the desk. They offered me new products. I refused. They said that they would do anything to make me happy, but their computers won't allow returns.

They told me that they would have customer service call me because they are the ones that can do the refund. Rikki Stone called me and offered me $457 plus new products. I spent $1800 on products I can't use. She told me that I purchased items at an independent store and it was up to them on how they wanted to handle things.

The money they offered me was their cost. They didn't want to lose out on their commissions. I passed on the offer and contacted my credit card company. I went back to the kiosk I started at and then to the salon.

I took multiple pictures to show that their return policy was not posted.

I'm from filling out paperwork to dispute my charges. I'm very fortunate to have pictures and texts to show how deceiptful they really are.

after much soul searching, I accepted an offer of $450. refund from Forever Flawless.

Not what I had hoped for, but it's better than nothing, which they could have been responsible for, because, they posted the no refund policy next to the register.

So, please tell everyone you know to stay far away from this company. Stick to the skin care companies you know.

Good luck all.

Forever Flawless & Oro Gold are related company. Their sales people are extremely pushy and manipulative.

I, too, bought from the store and was dissatisfied. I tried to get my money back by contacting credit card company but failed because Forever Flawless has no return policy. I complained to BBB & the company replied that they only offer exchanges. They told me that I bought the product with my free will and the only solution is to trash the product if I didn't like it.

If I were you, I would go back to the store and call the police at the store.

If possible, contact local news & get media attention.

#724556 Review #724556 is a subjective opinion of poster.
Reason of review
Poor customer service

I had a very similar experience as the 75 yr. old woman at the NorthShore Mall did.

It was a kiosk rather than the store. A young woman approached me with a diamond shape handout and quite cleverly started talking about her products. She was aggressive - put a mirror to my face, insisted I had blackheads, open pores, and the onset of Rosacea which could eventually cost $3,000 for treatment. Oh she also commented on my hands.

Well by then I was insulted by her comments. I'm not blind I can see if I have blackheads, etc. She had a look of astonishment when I left. I too will report them to the BBB and NorthShore Mall.

They are out of Las Vegas, NV and started 2013. How dare they come to Massachusetts!!!
